At the Harvard Club of France, we believe deeply in the power of ideas, dialogue, and human connection to create positive impact.

As the second-largest Harvard alumni community in Europe, our mission is not only to bring alumni together, but also to use Harvard’s extraordinary network as a force for the greater good. Since our Board was elected in January 2025, we have worked to strengthen what we call our #Network4Good in order to deploy #HarvardImpact.

Over the past year, we organized more than 60 events exploring topics ranging from democracy, human rights, and neuroscience to innovation, leadership, sustainability, and the arts. We also supported initiatives beyond our walls, including student mentorship programs, mental health projects, and social impact collaborations connecting Harvard alumni across disciplines and borders.

In a world that has become increasingly polarized and fragmented, we believe communities like ours have an important responsibility: to create spaces for thoughtful conversations, intellectual openness, respectful disagreement, and collective action.

This is why we are particularly happy to support the Harvard French Review, whose ambition to foster reflection, dialogue, and cultural exchange resonates strongly with our own values. At a time when trust, nuance, and long-form thinking are often under pressure, initiatives that encourage meaningful conversations and diverse perspectives matter more than ever.

We are proud to stand alongside projects that help bring the best of Harvard to France, and the best of France to Harvard.

Français du Monde – ADFE is a public-interest organization representing French citizens living abroad and advocating for their rights across all aspects of daily life, including education, social protection, taxation, consular affairs, and citizenship. With a global network of local chapters, the association works in close coordination with French institutions and elected officials representing French expatriates.

Beyond its role as a representative body, Français du Monde fosters solidarity among French communities worldwide, helps maintain strong ties with France, and supports the integration of its members in their host countries. As an active participant in public life, the association contributes to national debates on issues affecting French citizens abroad through its elected representatives and advisory bodies.
